Event Description

After years of watching these adorable creatures, we thought we should share them with you !
We head out to visit two very atmospheric abandoned villages (tholtans) that are set a lovely sheltered forest.
We also have a knowledge of the tracks where some of the Manx population of Wallabies live and we will take you on a guided twilight walk (they are nocturnal!) to commune with these unusual and beautiful marsupials.
We also see a range of wild fungi, plants and other wildlife (we carry bat detectors).
The walk is on easy paths, but they are some times steep and occasionally muddy, we have some powerful head torches to highlight where they are standing (or jumping)
You will also find it useful to bring your own torches.
We will finish off with some samples of some of our delicious and healthy foraged hot drinks, such as sweet rosehip tea, hawthorn leaf and flower tea or bilberry tea and a biscuit.
